I am an ADHD and Executive Function coach specializing in working one-on-one with individuals facing challenges related to ADHD and associated executive functioning difficulties. My focus is on supporting clients in various areas, including work, higher education, and everyday life. My role involves active listening, providing guidance, and assisting with goal setting to promote greater success and well-being.

What is a superpower folks with anxiety have?

Their ability to look at things from many angles. Considering the many details in life.

What do you recommend to help clients focus on their work?

Many people find focus challenging because they are trying to do too much in too short of a timeline. My key strategy with this is to consider taking the focused item apart (into bite-sized pieces), and work with dopamine producing brain chemicals to have success with completing the smaller tasks. A metaphor I love to use is pizza-you can definitely eat a whole pizza but it's easier slice by slice.

What do you love about working with your clients?

Hearing them say "wow" I never thought about it that way...

How would you describe your unique style of working with clients?

With me it's not ever all seriousness and colourless coaching. A less formal approach works well with neurodivergent clients. I'm still a professional and I believe my clients will participate and learn more in an environment that stimulates positive feelings.

What does mental wellbeing mean to you?

Feeling supported in your mental health can ensure your daily life has meaning and purpose.

Client Expertise

I primarily work with Neurodivergent adults and post-secondary students. Newly diagnosed and late diagnosed men and women are my "speciality". Coaching in the workplace (any workplace), is also niche area for my practice.

ADHD often presents with one or more other mental health conditions and there is typically a long history of not feeling "heard or understood". My goal is to listen (we sometimes laugh a lot too!), ask questions, talk about goals, and then we both strategize and plan for getting those goals further than what you came to coaching with. In addition to ADHD and Executive Function coaching, I am also certified in Trauma Informed Coaching, Solutions Focused coaching and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Above all those things, I coach the person first and the problem second - I meet you where you're at and sooner rather than later we align and that's where the good stuff happens.
